Signing a presentation

Learn how to respond to a signature request.

If somebody has requested your signature on a presentation through Seidat, you will receive an email with a link to the page that contains a PDF copy of the presentation and transaction details.

Follow these steps to sign:

  1. Open the request email and click REVIEW AND SIGN. The signature page will open in your web browser. If you are a registered user, you can also find the signature request under the "My signatures" page. Check the "Finding your signatures" section of the eSign overview article to learn where to find your signatures.
  2. Fill in all required fields. If you're logged into Seidat, the name field will be pre-filled.
  3. If you don't have a Seidat account, you will be asked to read and accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  4. Click SIGN.

When a presentation is signed by all parties, the participants will receive an email with a link to the signed presentation PDF. The PDF document contains all transaction details that can be found on the signature page you used to sign.

Canceling a request

Before a presentation is signed by all parties, any participant has the right to cancel the request. The requester has the right to cancel it too, provided that they are a member of the requesting team and have team viewing rights (viewer role and above).

To cancel a request, click CANCEL SIGNATURE at the bottom of the signature page. All participants will be notified by email.
