Presenter mode

The most versatile way to present when presenting locally or when using live mode.

Presenter mode allows you to see your whole presentation and jump from slide to slide while you are presenting. Presenter mode can be used both online and offline.

Online presenting

  1. Open any presentation you want to present by clicking the "play" button on the presentation or from a link that is in live mode.
  2. When you have the presentation open, click the letter "P" from your keyboard or "Open presenter window" from the slide map on the right lower corner of the slide to open the presenter window into a new window (gif below)
  3. You can now change slides from the presenter window by clicking on the slide you want to show. You can also read slide notes and write meeting notes in this view.

Tips for presenting with a presenter window:

  • You can keep the presenter window on top of the slide you are presenting if you are in an online meeting and you are sharing a window. The others can't see the presenter window as you share only one window in the online meeting. NOTE! Never share your full screen. You can also drag the presenter window on the screen you are only seeing (I.E., your laptop) and drag/keep the original window on the screen your viewers see.
  • Ensure you don't have the presenter window in full-screen mode during the presentation. If the presenter window is opened on top of the presentation in full screen, the slides won't change below it. To ensure your window is not in full screen, drag the window from the corner to become smaller.
  • You can toggle fullscreen on the window that your viewers are viewing (keyboard shortcut F).

Offline presenting

You can use the presenter window also offline. Download the presentation "Seidat for offline use," and you are ready.
