Slide history & presentation history

See when a slide, smart slide or a presentation has been edited and by who.

How to access slide & presentation history

Slide history is accessed by clicking on the slide options (three dots) in the slide map editor and choosing "Slide history."

Smart slide history is accessed the same way as normal slide history. If you are in the smart slide bank, you can access the slide history by clicking the Slide history button directly on the slide.

Presentation history can be accessed from the dashboard by clicking "Show more" (three dots) on the presentation and then choosing "Presentation history."

What can you see from the History

Slides

Created by: who created the slide

Created: when the slide was first created

Last edited by: who edited the slide the last time. Editing, in this case, means that someone has:

  • edited, added, or deleted content on the slide

  • replaced a smart slide

  • merged or deleted a media in the media bank that is used on the slide

  • removed or replaced a text style in the brand settings that are used on the slide (editing a text style won't affect the data)

Updated: when the last edits to the slide's content were done.

Note! Edited and updated counts also updates that are not done directly in the slide: merging and deleting media in the media bank or editing text styles in the brand settings used on the slide.

Presentations:

Created by: who created the presentation

Created: when the presentation was first created

Last edited by: who edited the presentation the last time. Editing, in this case, means that someone has:

  • edited a slide inside the presentation

  • added, deleted, or moved slides inside the presentation

  • edited, replaced, or deleted a smart slide that was used in the presentation

  • merged or deleted a media in the media bank that is used in the presentation

  • removed or replaced a text style in the brand settings that are used in the presentation (editing a text style won't affect the data)

Updated: when the last edits to the presentation's content were done.

Note! Edited and updated counts also updates that are not done directly in the presentation: merging and deleting media in the media bank, editing text styles in the brand settings used in the presentation, or editing / replacing smart slides in the smart slide bank.
