Enabling viewer-initiated e-signatures

Сonfigure a presentation to collect signatures from its viewers.

You can configure a presentation to collect signatures from its viewers. In contrast to sending a signature request, this lets visitors look through the interactive presentation first, and then initiate the signature collection process at their discretion. If enabled, this option becomes available in all presentation viewing modes: play, share, live and direct share. When initiating the process, signing visitors can include other people to request signatures from. This is useful when, for example, sharing an offer with a customer via a shared presentation link.

Configuring a presentation for signature collection

To let viewers initiate signature requests, you need to enable this option in the presentation's eSign settings. These settings are configured on a presentation-by-presentation basis. You need to have sharing rights for the presentation.

Follow these steps to enable viewer initiated signatures:

  1. Open the presentation you want to request signatures on.
  2. Click eSign settings in the sidebar on the left. (See image 1).
  3. Check the "Presentation viewers can initiate signatures" box.
  4. Optional: in the "Team signers" field, fill in the emails of people (including yourself) who will be requested to sign this presentation from your side. When a visitor initiates a signature collection process, these people will receive a request too. For example, include those who are legally authorized to sign on behalf of your company.
  5. Optional: the "Send signed copies to" field is for emails where a link to the signed PDF will be sent once it's signed by all.
  6. Optional: Note to signers is for a note that will appear in the email request, in the viewer-facing signature dialog, and on the signature page.
  7. Optional: Viewer 'Call to Action' button text is what will be shown to the presentation viewers at the bottom of the presentation player. Defaults to "Sign by email".
  8. Once you've filled everything in, click UPDATE to save.
