Exporting a presentation for offline use

Presenting without an Internet connection? We've got you covered! You can download a presentation to your device and present offline. You can also store it on a USB stick or email it to somebody.

Downloaded presentations are meant for viewing only. All presentation player functions will work exactly as they do in the online app. If you need to make any changes, you have to do them in the app and export the presentation again to have the latest version.

Embedded content (videos, websites...) will not work unless you connect to the Internet.

Due to limitations of iOS operating system, exporting presentations is not possible on iPhones and iPads.

  1. Navigate to the sharing page of the presentation you'd like to export. You can do so by clicking Share presentation in the presentation preview. Or clicking Share presentation in the side bar if you have the presentation open.
  2. Switch to the Export / PDF tab.
  4. Wait for the presentation to be converted. Depending on the size of the presentation, this might take a while.
  5. Download will start automatically once it's ready.

The downloaded ZIP archive is all you need for presenting. The presentation will work on both Mac and Windows computers. You can store it on an external drive or send it as an attachment.

Some email providers may block the attachment. To go around this issue, consider storing the archive on a cloud storage and sharing it with a link.

Mac Windows
  1. Locate the ZIP archive you have downloaded.
  2. Double click the archive to unpack it.
  3. Open the folder that was created as a result of the step 2.
  4. Open the "play.html" file with the browser of your choice.

Do not move or edit files in the folder, otherwise the presentation will stop working!
