This update enables image cropping in the slide editor. You can now double-click an image to get to the cropping mode. You can move, resize, rotate and skew an image within its cropping mask by dragging the image's handles. The cropping mask itself can be resized by dragging the gray handles on each side and corner of it.
In addition to cropping, you can now choose between the three image fit options in the editor panel on the right:
- Fill: the image is sized to maintain its aspect ratio while filling the element’s entire content box. If the image aspect ratio does not match the aspect ratio of its box, the image will be clipped to fit.
- Fit: the image is scaled to maintain its aspect ratio while fitting within the element’s content box.
- Scale (default): the image is sized to fill the element’s content box. If the image aspect ratio does not match the aspect ratio of its box, the image will be stretched to fit.
